About Me

Some of my greatest passions in life are family, nature and photography.  Being born one of nine children and raised on a farm in central Illinois gave me plenty of experiences with others and the outdoors. Cameras, taking pictures and sharing photos have been a big part of  my family because we feel a photograph records history and tells a story.  For instance, the photo of my grandfather in his chaps shows me he was a cowboy in Colorado. Using this photo and many others, I was able to create unique family heritage scrapbooks for both my mother and father. My most recent inspiration and members of my family is our grandson, Carter and granddaughter, Calee. They have opened a whole new chapter in our lives, and in photo opportunities! Living in the country has brought me closer to  the wildlife, along with  the help of my camera, a Canon Digital Rebel XT and 100-400mm zoom lens. Photographs can provide a split second glimpse of life  that would be lost in time without them. Through my photography I seek to document your personal experiences, to capture your special images and events, and to share with others the beauty of the world as I see it. I enjoy using my creative side to develop new and unique ideas and products. Smile!
